Check Timing**: High-speed trains can take around 5-6 hours. If you opt for a flight, consider the additional time for airport transfers and security checks. Buses are usually the least time-efficient option, taking up to 10 hours, while driving offers flexibility but can be challenging due to traffic.
Luggage Considerations**: Keep your luggage light and manageable, especially for train travel. Most trains have specific luggage size limits, and handling large bags can be cumbersome. A small suitcase or backpack is ideal.
Crossing Borders**: If you're crossing the Taiwan Strait, ensure you have valid identification and any necessary documents. While there are currently no direct flights or trains from mainland China to Taiwan, ensure you are aware of the rules and regulations regarding entry into Taiwan.
